As your medical provider, we are very concerned about your health and well-being in the setting of the COVID-19 pandemic. We follow recommendations from local and state health agencies, as well as the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Here are the things we are doing to promote safety regarding the COVID-19 virus.
- We will continue to see patients in clinic for physical exam and additional testing. However, it is very important that patients communicate their symptoms with our office. If you have a fever over 100F, cough or shortness of breath, please do not come to the office. Call us immediately and we will direct you to the appropriate facility.
- We are able to conduct telemedicine visits as needed for routine appointments, such as post-operative visits beyond 2 weeks. This may or may not include video.
- We are only seeing patients on a scheduled basis, rather than walk-ins, in order to minimize any contact with other patients in the waiting rooms.
- We work with partner hospitals to ensure that they have trained staff available to assist for planned surgical procedures, and that we can perform planned procedures without compromising patient safety or staff safety and well-being.
